Epicerie offers a bright and cozy space tucked away in the Rosedale neighborhood– which can be compared to visiting your neighbor's place. Only difference is: we are a bistro with a splendid pastry case.

We also provide a charming bar to imbibe delicious spirits and our innovative wine list; as well as a comfortable, covered patio to lounge and dine.

Our sweet bungalow is perfect for private events with a capacity of up to 50 seated or 75 standing. Send us a message for rental inquiries.

Executive Chef-owner & lover of flaky croissants

In 2012, Sarah brought her own vision of an uncomplicated cafe & grocery in one with epicerie, which roughly translates to “grocer’s shop” in French. After years of success and the restaurant surviving the pandemic, it had evolved from a grocery & cafe into a bistro, bar & boulangerie.

In 2020, McIntosh started a pastry program within our kitchen as well as a bar program with a master bartender, which transformed the restaurant in the best way.

Throughout these major changes, one thing has stayed the same: Sarah continues to bring the simplicity of her beloved French-Louisiana fare together with seasonal offerings that keep her patrons pleasantly surprised. From her mouth-watering breakfast croissant sandwich to the housemade pasta, one will never tire of her ever-evolving menu.
